SGTA Seminar
The SGTA seminar is a bi-weekly meeting organized by the senior GTAs (SGTAs) and Dr. Arnold. The seminars are geared toward issues affecting graduate students. They include a range of professional development topics such as:
- Balancing coursework, teaching, and research
- Building a competitive CV and/or resume
- Preparing job application materials such as research, teaching, and diversity statements
- Building a professional website
- Navigating your relationship with your adviser
- The teaching and learning of mathematics

Numerical Analysis Reading Group
